Dear 5th grade Students and Parents,
Welcome to another exciting school year! I am Mrs. Brown and I am so excited to be working with you this year.
I love 5th grade. It is a great year. I am confident that we will have many wonderful experiences and opportunities to learn and grow in the days and months ahead.
To tell you just a little bit about me:
I will teach the 5th grade history classes. I have been associated with the Thomas Edison Charter School since its opening in 2002. I served on the Parent Organization Council and volunteered heavily in the classroom. It was here that I found my desire to earn my degree in Elementary Education. After graduating in May 2011 from Utah State University I am thrilled to be here teaching among my mentors. I love children of all ages, but I think 5th graders are especially fun.
